A famous village quietly producing some of the best wines on the Cote de Nuits. It sits next to Gevrey Chambertin and is home to Clos de la Roche, Clos de Tart and other great appellations.
My last visit involved 2 hours tasting and discussing with the Amiot freres and getting some of the last 1999 Clos de la Roche (Magnums only) as 1999 is such a strong year its all gone! Liquid Gold. |
